Account Management Intern

The Account Management Intern will gain hands-on experience by working with multiple buying teams within Costco, focusing on inventory management, sales tracking, and customer service issues to make a tangible impact on operations.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management: placing orders, weekly inventory tracking, communicating inventory levels to Costco teams
Sales Tracking: sales tracking by store of multiple pallet programs
Customer Service Tickets: assisting with Costco customer service issues (CAT Escalations) helping respond and resolve within 24-48 hours, follow up with internal teams
Project Tracking- helping to capture notes and follow up action items on both internal and external calls

Required

Currently a junior or rising senior enrolled at a local Atlanta University (e.g., Georgia State University, University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University), pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Sales or a related field
3.0 GPA and above
Students expected to graduate May 2027
The ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing school, work, and personal
Students entering their junior year through graduate school are eligible
Students local to Atlanta pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field as we are looking for you to solve real world problems

Preferred

Knowledge of analytic tools such as Power BI or Excel is preferred
Detail-Oriented: We value interns who pay attention to details, ensuring their work is accurate and meets our high standards
Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools will help you excel in tasks and collaborate effectively with the team
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with team members and participating in discussions
Driven and Eager to Learn: We seek interns who are motivated, curious, and ready to embrace new challenges as they grow and develop in their roles
