Partnership Resources, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their day program. DSPs are key advocates who foster joyful living by supporting individual choice, skill development, and community exploration.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement activities that build life skills or offer social engagement through recreation
Accompany individuals on field trips and to volunteer sites – assisting people to explore and connect with their community in an inclusive way
Support a caseload of individuals – maintaining communication with the person’s home or family, completing daily documentation and participating in care team meetings
Support individuals using person-centered strategies in order to help people achieve goals and self-advocate

Required

No experience necessary. All training is provided
Must be able to pass a background check with the MN Department of Human Services
Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa
Minimum age requirement is 18 years
Must be able to regularly push/pull/lift 21-50 pounds
Ability and willingness to assist individuals with activities of daily living
Ability or willingness to learn basic computer and technology skills
This position does not require you to transport individuals

Preferred

Multilingual candidates who speak Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Oromo or American Sign Language are encouraged to apply
