Responsibilities

Provide logistical support to include shipping, transporting, recovering, scheduling, planning and implementation, assisting with material procurement and inventory processing, multi-vendor shipping, and coordination of all phases of the IT project
Manage just-in-time (JIT) stock levels as they pertain to IT projects, ensures sufficient baseline materials are available for projects
Coordinate IT Logistical support of network and systems projects
Provide resource planning and materials control as associated with all aspects of this task order
Use IT bar code resource management systems to actively manage the transfer of IT resources between the NOSC and deployed forces
Produce detailed professional reports, to brief status of projects to senior leaders, and to provide statistical analysis for strategic planning and funding
Track resource availability reports to the IT Project Manager
Use the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), or other successor systems to manage IT project resources
Serve as the NOSC Custodian Authorization/ Custody Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) Account/Control Manager
Develop detailed project shipping plans to use the best method for shipping IT equipment and project materials to all countries in the AFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR)
Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Team leads to schedule training of NOSC personnel on the shipping methods and procedures to increase project efficiency
Move and/or coordinate the movement of project equipment and materials to the transportation delivery points, both commercial and DoD as required to guarantee delivery. Responsible for the completion of form DD 1149 and the input of shipping information and data into standard trouble ticketing system (TTS)
Recommend areas that need improvement and provide metrics to the effectiveness of the plan and resources utilized. Capture this data and make it available via the web to all end users and local agencies
Manage IT project warehouse and project equipment and materials (including receiving, processing, labeling, correlating, and safeguarding all project equipment and materials). Function as the lead shipping coordinator for the movement of project equipment and materials to the transportation delivery points, both commercial and DoD
Maintain a database of project materials using automated inventory management database and scanning systems
Perform as IT Equipment Custodian for all NOSC accounts and use local IT databases and the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database to issue, receive, and recover IT project equipment
Providing project manager and project leaders with inputs on inventory and shipping issues for inclusion in the Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
Maintaining current country clearance and customs requirements for shipping project materials to ensure adequate time is allocated for staging and buildup of equipment
Ensure shipping resources and funds are available for the shipping of IT project equipment and materials
Ensure all purchases are reviewed and approved by Government representative prior to obligation and/or fulfillment
Document all storage warehousing, shipping and reporting associated with the IT project in web format (soft copy available to all interested and applicable parties) and in archive format
Coordinate the development of a file plan and implement the plan in order to archive all project related data for posterity and future reference
Use bar-coding technologies to ensure project materials are properly accounted for on a master inventory database
Coordinate the completion of transportation tracking documents, and maintain file copies of transportation control documents in accordance with file plan disposition
Send shipping notices to destination POC and open/update the Ticketing system for tracking purposes
Coordinate with internal and external agencies for the tracking and delivery of IT project materials
Coordinate domestic and international shipping, to include host nation customs documents and clearance requirements
Responsible for, coordinates, and executes disposition and disposal actions for IT equipment via Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services and Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) procedures and guidelines
Provide documentation/reports support as required
Provide meetings/briefings support as required
Provide OCONUS deployment/TDY travel support as required
Provide CONUS TDY support as required

Required

3 or more years' relevant experience
Be familiar with applicable/associated logistics processes and technology
Secret level clearance required

ITIL Foundation (candidate has up to 60 days to acquire ITIL Foundation certification)
