Responsibilities
Assist engineering and production teams in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the production floor to minimize downtime and maintain product quality
Support process improvement projects by collecting data, performing tests, and implementing engineering solutions
Document standard operating procedures, maintenance logs, and technical reports to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, safety, and supply chain to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment with hands-on technical responsibilities
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and maintenance principles
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards such as OSHA and ISO
Certification as a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) or similar credential
