Responsibilities
Lead civil engineering analysis, design, and management of land development and site design projects
Perform grading, hydraulic design, storm drainage, water and sewer system design, and erosion control analyses
Collaborate directly with clients, project design teams, and technical staff to deliver innovative and compliant solutions
Prepare detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and documentation requirements
Support construction activities including submittal and RFI review, and field coordination
Participate in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and project financial monitoring
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Knowledge of AASHTO Greenbook, CDOT, and local municipal standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Experience with grading, drainage, hydrology/hydraulics, and street design
Preferred
Experience managing municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects
Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes
Experience designing roadways, bikeways, erosion control, water quality, and sewer systems
