Responsibilities
Review warehouse loan data files, funding documents, and wire instructions
Audit loan documents, closing disclosures, and disclosed fees for accuracy
Verify pricing, insurance, and closing conditions prior to funding
Balance funding figures and wire loan proceeds to title
Request wires from warehouse banks and coordinate disbursements with title/escrow
Communicate conditions and updates to processors, escrow officers, and management
Register loans with MERS and UCDP (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac)
Review collateral, scan/stack closing documents in Encompass
Complete investor purchase conditions and required forms
Support post-closing review to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor standards
Qualification
Required
4+ years of successful mortgage closing & funding in a correspondent lending environment
Strong knowledge of funding guidelines & procedures across wet and dry states
Proficiency with Encompass LOS (required)
Exceptional accuracy with loan documents, disclosures, and closing conditions
Professional, proactive communicator with all stakeholders
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Hands-on experience with MERS and UCDP (required)
