Responsibilities
Monthly closing and reporting process, using financial reporting systems
Working with Bill of Materials and Product Routings through SAP system
Assist in monthly variance analysis including, but not limited to, PPV, freight, material usage, production order, labor, and burden (overhead) variances
Providing analysis and support to Internal and External Audits of the businesses
Reviewing, analyzing and updating standard product costs as they relate to labor, material and overhead
Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories and reconcile all differences
Assisting with department spending analysis and facility budgets and forecasts
Support for internal and external audit activities
Complete ad hoc financial information requests
Performs other related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years cost accounting experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Strong analytical, planning and communication skills
Strong computer skills; proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel & Word
