Dimplex Thermal Solutions is seeking an Application Developer to help cross-functional teams develop and evolve ideas for business applications. The developer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of applications that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

Development and integration of key applications for the business. Ensure a complete approved design, and develop applications to meet the requirements of the design in a timely manner
Provide help desk support for business applications
Keep abreast of emerging behaviors and technologies that could impact / benefit the business
All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Technical background and mindset to solve problems through a technical solution
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Skilled programmer in JavaScript, HTML5, Microsoft .Net, C#, SQL, Python
AWS Infrastructure, Containers, ECS, EKS, AWS IoT Core
Skilled in testing concepts, tools and methodologies for database driven applications
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment and external groups
Experience in administration of Microsoft SQL Server, as well as managing SQL security
Programming within a SQL environment (creating views, triggers, stored procedures), as well as using SQL-based queries from within programming languages
Ability to learn and integrate with existing and future software solutions, ERP, CRM, PDM, custom as required
Ability to document requirements, changes, change control documents and approvals
Ability to follow IT policies and procedures
