Nonprofit Contract Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller
The ASP Team is a provider of accounting services to small and midsize companies and nonprofits since 2006. They are seeking a Nonprofit Contract Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller to manage accounting for various clients on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities
You will work as the outsourced bookkeepers, accountants, accounting managers, senior accountants, and controllers for our clients on a part-time basis
You will serve as trusted partners to our clients in the day-to-day management of their organizations
Qualification
Required
At least 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of nonprofit experience
Knowledge of GAAP and General Ledger structure and activity
Experience with nonprofit fund accounting
Must have full cycle account experience with good understanding of best practices
Self-starter and problem solver with ability to work down to transactional levels as well as manage up with solutions or recommendations
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
Located in Greater Portland/Vancouver metro area
Preferred
Grant and contract management
Plan to consult as an independent contractor over the next 2-5 years
At least 16 hours a week available to dedicate to our clients
Strong understanding of Quickbooks (other accounting software experience a plus)
Proficient with Excel and other MS Office products
Interest in working with multiple clients on a part-time or project basis
