Assisting with complex traffic engineering tasks with other staff on highway and bridge projects
Leading and developing traffic studies and highway occupancy permits
Signing and Pavement Marking design
Assisting with development of Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
Assisting with development of Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Impact Studies (TIS)
ADA Design and Curb Ramp Design
FDOT Access Management, TSM&O and Complete Streets Initiatives
Assisting with the development of project Cost Estimates and Specifications
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to technical staff (e.g., CADD)
Experience with traffic-related software packages (Synchro, HCM, VISSIM, SIDRA)
Experience with FDOT and similar public sector clients (Counties, Cities, Townships)
Developing client relationships with Public and Private Clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master's degree a plus
Minimum years of work experience: 4-8 years
Computer skills required: Microsoft Suite; Microstation, Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/SimTraffic
Assisting with complex traffic engineering tasks with other staff on highway and bridge projects
Leading and developing traffic studies and highway occupancy permits

Assisting with development of Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
