Intern, R&D Undergraduate Summer - PNT Resilience, Onsite

Responsibilities

Contribute to ongoing projects in algorithm development, software engineering, and hardware integration
Assist with circuit design, instrumentation, and system testing under the guidance of senior staff
Support development and troubleshooting of embedded systems and microcontroller based tools
Participate in data collection, analysis, and visualization using Python, Matlab, or similar platforms
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance navigation system technologies

Required

Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited undergraduate program
Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Familiarity with programming languages (C, Python, Java)
Basic knowledge of electronics or instrumentation
Strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
Demonstrated interest in applying engineering skills to real world navigation challenges
Pursuing Electrical Engineering or related fields
