Responsibilities

Leads cross-campus entrepreneurial engagement by designing and executing programs such as startup weekends, ideation sessions, and interdisciplinary innovation challenges that activate students from every college
Grows and supports student entrepreneurship organizations by advising leadership teams, coordinating resources, and aligning student-led initiatives with the university’s broader innovation strategy
Develops and manages campus-wide outreach campaigns that increase visibility, awareness, and access to entrepreneurial opportunities, ensuring consistent messaging across events, digital platforms, and academic units
Owns entrepreneurial data tracking and analytics by building systems to collect, manage, and report participation, impact, and outcomes across all TCU entrepreneurship programs
Leads rankings strategy and submissions related to entrepreneurship and innovation by gathering required documentation, coordinating with university offices, and ensuring accurate and compelling representation of TCU’s ecosystem
Coordinates and drafts grant proposals that support entrepreneurship programming, student initiatives, and external partnerships
Fosters a vibrant and inclusive entrepreneurial culture by planning campus-wide events, collaborations, and campaigns that celebrate diverse founders and broaden access to entrepreneurial resources
Builds a consistent student engagement strategy that ties together communications, events, partnerships, and data-driven decision-making
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Master's degree
3 plus years' managerial experience
Knowledge of organizational management and problem-solving techniques
Knowledge of strong interpersonal skills and a highly capable communicator
Knowledge at networking in executive settings and developing strategic relationships
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Skill in oral and written communication and organizational techniques
Ability to comfortably facilitate discussion with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to establish rapport and credibility with a variety of constituents to include students, alumni, peers, advisory board members and business leaders
Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member
Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information
Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication
Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions
Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting
Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs

Preferred

Master's in Business Administration
Prior experience in higher education
