Responsibilities
Build and maintain dashboards using data and tools such as Linear, Basecamp, and Jira to provide real-time visibility into project health, resourcing, dependencies, and delivery KPIs
Establish operational frameworks, delivery standards, and reporting cadences across all consulting engagements
Define and optimize performance metrics that support utilization, margin, predictability, and client satisfaction
Proactive management of compliance and legal requirements to minimize risk and project delays
Provide oversight across all active projects—ensuring plans are realistic, risks are known, and client expectations are aligned
Establish consistent project lifecycle practices that align with an advanced engineering environment (Scala, Haskell, Rust, NixOS)
Serve as an escalation point for project issues, risks, or client concerns
Partner with technical leads to balance engineering excellence with operational rigor
Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Management team; build a culture of accountability, communication, and proactive planning
Work closely with the CHRO on capacity planning, staffing decisions, role scoping, and long-term workforce planning
Champion practices that support effective distributed teamwork across a 100% remote company
Identify inefficiencies or gaps in project delivery and introduce streamlined processes and automation
Standardize tools, templates, and documentation across all delivery teams
Collaborate with Finance on scoping, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and margin review
Qualification
Required
8+ years in consulting operations, delivery operations, or a senior project/program leadership role in a technical consulting or software development environment
4 + years of experience with client management for clients in the finance sector: traditional finance, decentralized finance, and/or blockchain
Experience scaling and managing delivery or project teams in a high growth remote-first company
Deep familiarity with operational tooling (Linear, Basecamp, Jira) and the ability to design usable dashboards and reporting
Strong understanding of high-skill engineering environments
Skilled at influencing without authority and partnering with founders and senior leaders
Available for core work hours during 9 am - 6 pm EST
Preferred
Familiarity with advanced languages (Scala, Haskell, Rust) is a plus—not required
