Responsibilities
Airing live and pre-recorded shows
All commercials and promos as scheduled
Completing traffic log and logging discrepancies
Airing emergency alert system tests as indicated
Engineering remote broadcasts and following station procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station's clients and listeners
Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
