Manufacturing Engineer

They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the engineering staff in analyzing and resolving engineering problems, collaborating with various departments to ensure product quality and performance.

Responsibilities
Provides floor support as required to analyze, investigate, and resolve manufacturing related issues
Communicates engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements in accordance with drawings and technical subject matter
Collaborates with quality, program management, engineering, functional management, and customer management as required to ensure all products meet or exceed the requirements of external or internal customers
Performs root cause analysis for manufacturing issues encountered and is able to quickly provide containment and path forward
Tracks design related issues to incorporation and provides input and direction to design engineering, program management, and quality
Keeps management informed of product performance, quality status, risks, and customer concerns. Passes information up and down the management chain efficiently and effectively
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
Performs duties as assigned and works in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education
Must have an understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory. Demonstrates the ability to follow and apply engineering knowledge, adapt standard techniques, and utilize the required diagnostics, tools, and equipment
Must be able to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment
Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other professionals, to produce appropriate documentation, and to present results to a limited internal audience
Experience in a Manufacturing/Liaison Engineering environment supporting across multiple internal and external support groups, problem investigation/resolution, multi-disciplinary technical guidance, and configuration management support
Provide evaluation and disposition for non-conformances, including root cause analysis, as well as participating in the corrective and preventative action process
Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings
Keeps management informed of product performance, quality status, risks, and customer concerns. Passes information up and down the management chain efficiently and effectively
Performs other duties as assigned and works in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required
