AVP, Product Services / RFP Writer

They are seeking a highly motivated RFP Writer to join their Centralized RFP team, responsible for coordinating and completing RFPs and DDQs while collaborating with investment teams to ensure high-quality responses.

Responsibilities

Draft and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with TCW’s positioning
Manage assigned projects across multiple deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Fixed Income, Private Credit & ABF, Equities, Compliance, and Distribution to gather and refine content
Interpret and communicate TCW’s investment philosophy, process, and value proposition in a clear, compelling manner
Support content management efforts by maintaining and enhancing standard language in RFP tools such as Responsive
Contribute to team projects focused on improving processes, workflow automation, and content governance

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally in an asset management RFP or client service role
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex investment topics clearly
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive team player
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally across departments and seniority levels
Comfortable with evolving technology platforms and process improvement initiatives
Robust critical thinking skills and ability to synthesize a wide array of qualitative and quantitative information
Ability to operate independently/proactively in interactions with other TCW teams, including facilitation of discussion and decision-making to develop content and other solutions in support of sales opportunities
Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to work independently and within established guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills and works well in a team environment

Preferred

Experience with RFP software (e.g., Responsive) strongly preferred
Familiarity with institutional and intermediary distribution channels is a plus
Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
