STAUD Clothing, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Product Development & Production Associate, RTW. The role involves becoming a product expert for sweaters and knits, collaborating with various teams from concept through production, and ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Design team ensuring product is developed within the company’s vision

Working with factories to request prototypes, salesman samples, and production samples

Working on multiple seasons at once and balancing workload

Becoming a product expert by growing a strong understanding of sweater/knit construction, sourcing and costing

Correspond daily with factories on all developments, growing vendor relationships

Managing the tracking and receiving of all samples. Ensuring they arrive by major milestones

Utilizing PLM to create style attributes, download tech packs, and update style information

Ensuring WIPS are maintained and accurate at all times. Reporting out on development and production status

Partner with tech team to maintain sample approval deadlines

Oversee the execution of production to maintain delivery and style quality

Support product compliance procedures (ie. Care labeling, safety standards, etc.)

Facilitate clear and timely communication across cross-functional teams to maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle

Will assist the team on other categories as needed

Required

Minimum of 3 years of apparel product development and/or production experience required

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and is open to change

Experience working with factories and mills directly

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally
