Caesars Entertainment is a leading hospitality and gaming company, and they are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the successful operation of the Facilities Department. This role involves managing maintenance and grounds, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the effective training and development of staff.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the direct management of the Facilities Department

Assists with developing and managing the Facilities/Hotel maintenance Budget

Responsible for coordinating with other departments on special projects for completion in a timely and professional manner

Responsible for planning, implementing procedures, processes, employee training, monitoring FTE’s, actual headcount and overtime

Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities

Meet with directors and managers as necessary

Responsible for hiring and development of Facilities Supervisors, Facilities Technicians, Mechanic, Carpenter, Groundskeeper, and HVAC Mechanic

Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance reviews of assigned personnel

Must be able to drive

Acts as liaison between Caesars and 3rd party vendors

Perform all other duties as assigned

Required

Two to four years' experience in managing the functions and activities of a multi-functional hotel, casino, hospital or relative facility

Must possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving, able to direct and motivate employees handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments, quickly evaluate options and make decisions which positively influence short and long-term business objectives

Knowledge of applicable EPA, OSHA, and ADA regulations and building codes

Knowledge of applicable HVAC, alarm, and sewage systems

Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and write technical and simple instructions

Timeliness and accuracy in performing assigned duties and responsibilities

Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs, ability to manage and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment

A broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule in an interruptive environment

Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items as well as manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds

Responds to visual and aural cues

Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling guest and employee conflicts

Must present a well-groomed appearance

Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, fumes, loud noises, and bright lights

Must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as needed

Must be able to operate all types of hand tools and power tools

Must be able to operate a forklift and man lift (both scissor/boom)
