New Grad, Entry LevelQBE Insurance is a global insurance provider, and they are seeking a Software Engineering Associate to develop and maintain software programs and scripts. The role involves collaborating with a Software Engineer to ensure compliance with standards and providing updates on development progress.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Software Engineer to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation
Develop and implement systems according to signed-off documents from the BA/QA
Respond to issues referred by team members and assist with their resolution
Coordinate with the Software Engineer to ensure consistency with security standards
Coordinate with the Software Engineer to provide regular updates to the Applications Development Manager
Undertake any other relevant duties as determined by the Lead/Senior Software Engineer
Learn new development methodologies and initiatives
Escalate issues promptly and adhere to company methodologies
Continuously evaluate operational risks and improvement opportunities, applying sound judgment to assess impacts and taking timely actions to prevent risks by integrating risk thinking into daily decisions and delivery behaviours against plans by agreed dates
