Responsibilities

Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment
Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadway, bridges, MSE Walls, Pile, Buildings, Parking structures, utilities, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control
Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards
Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures
Assumes additional responsibilities as directed

Required

Construction survey experience including, staking, setting project control points, running levels, experience with Trimble and Leica survey equipment, understanding of plans, machine control models, surfaces, staking building grid lines, footings and wall lines
Good communication skills, both verbally and written
Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment
Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadway, bridges, MSE Walls, Pile, Buildings, Parking structures, utilities, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control
Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards
Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures
Assumes additional responsibilities as directed

Preferred

A minimum of 3 years of survey experience with a heavy Civil / Highway construction is preferred
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Trimble and Leica equipment is preferred but not mandatory
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook Exchange is preferred but not mandatory
Drone Part 107 License preferred but not mandatory, able to obtain within 4 months of hire
