Responsibilities
Manage and maintain CoBank's AWS footprints
Implement Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code practices
Monitor and optimize system performance
Automate deployment processes
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployments
Collaborate with teams to ensure best practices are being followed
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineering/IT Operations/SysAdmin role required
3 years of experience supporting a cloud service; preferably AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure required
Ability to apply independent judgement on most decisions, and to work with minimal guidance
Routinely uses significant judgement on moderate-to-complex business problems
Demonstrates strategic thinking
Experience in team leadership
Strong collaboration skills across departments
Advanced experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services, reflecting a senior level of expertise
Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or a relevant discipline
Expertise in one or more hybrid/on-premises technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5
Experience developing and implementing digital transformation strategies
Any AWS/Azure/GCP Certification (developer, solution architect, networking, infrastructure)
