Responsibilities

Conducts detailed operational analyses to improve research funding strategies and institutional resource allocation
Analyzes grant portfolios, member accomplishments, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform leadership on strategic priorities
Leads workflow redesign projects, applying data-driven approaches to enhance administrative and research processes
Evaluates organizational models, recommending structural or procedural enhancements to improve center-wide efficiency
Develops forecasting models and reporting tools to assist senior leadership with financial and operational planning
Develops feasibility studies and business plans to assess new initiatives and strengthen cancer research infrastructure
Designs interactive dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau to visualize key metrics and streamline decision-making
Writes SQL queries to extract and manipulate complex datasets for reporting and analysis
Performs other duties as required

Required

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master's Degree preferred (Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field)
3+ years (higher preferred) related experience required

Preferred

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Experience at an NCI-designated Cancer Center
Proficiency in EVAL, InfoEd and/or Tableau
Familiarity with cancer registry data and diagnostic codes
