Responsibilities
Lead internal audits and control testing across cloud and on-prem systems
Identify gaps in security and compliance controls and recommend acceptable remediation strategies
Support evidence collection and audit readiness for SOX, SOC 2, and other frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure regulatory alignment
Evaluate and improve security controls, documentation, and operational processes
Assist in executing the IT compliance program for internal and customer-facing environments
Contribute to continuous monitoring and compliance automation initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Risk Management, or Compliance
Strong experience with internal audits, gap analysis, and remediation planning
Familiarity with SOX, SOC 2, and frameworks like ISO 2700X, NIST, or ITIL
Experience working with SaaS or software engineering teams
CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or similar certification (or in progress)
Preferred
Exposure to export compliance (e.g., ITAR, EAR, DFARS)
