Responsibilities
We’re looking for a land planner or architect with hands-on experience in parametric design for U.S. residential developments and/or urban planning contexts
This is a project-based consulting role, not a full-time position
The ideal candidate understands how to design at the site planning/community layout level or at the urban planning level
This role does not involve building architecture — only site planning
This consulting engagement focuses on how parametric workflows improve real-world residential site planning
How land planners set up rules, constraints, and optimization parameters
How Grasshopper scripts integrate with typical planning tasks
Where parametric design saves time or improves design outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Grasshopper
Practical understanding of U.S. site planning norms, constraints, and design standards
Previous work on SFH or townhouse subdivisions, or urban layouts
Ability to explain and demonstrate how parametric tools were used in real-world projects
