Responsibilities

Investment Analysis: Assist in developing detailed Excel analyses to support the investment decision-making process, providing actionable insights for potential investments and portfolio management

Project Collaboration: Work on a project alongside both the investment team and Excellence Group, which focuses on continuous improvement and supporting Flint’s Five Key Battles™. You will have the opportunity to present your project outcomes to Flint leadership and operating company management

Financial and Strategic Insight: Gain in-depth working knowledge of relevant financial concepts and real-world investment strategies, bridging the gap between theory and practice

Board Meeting Exposure: Observe and listen in on a board meeting with an existing operating company to understand governance, decision-making, and the operational challenges faced by portfolio companies

Continuous Learning: Participate in a 5-day orientation program to familiarize yourself with Flint Group’s business, team, and the tools/skills you’ll need for success during the internship

Professional Development: Establish a foundation of knowledge and experience that will prepare you for a successful career in investment management, corporate strategy, or business operations

Required

Currently a sophomore or Junior, with a GPA of 3.75 or higher

Completion of at least two courses in finance, accounting, economics, or business management prior to program start

A demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, economics, or business strategy

Ability to analyze data and develop insights that contribute to strategic decision-making
