JBS USA is a leading food processing company, and they are seeking a Value Added QA Technician for the 2nd shift. The main purpose of this role is to monitor food safety and quality procedures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and assisting in maintaining product specifications and labeling accuracy.

Responsibilities

Monitor SOP’s, SSOP’s, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency’s request
Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy
Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations
Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies
Work closely with production associates in monitoring product packaging and labeling, and correcting any deficiencies
Audit inbound product and fill out reports with findings
Print inserts or labels, being held accountable for label information accuracy
Assist in other duties as needed

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work first shift 04:30 am - 14:30 and second shift from 14:30 - 00:30, occasionally overtime the last day of the week

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred
