Responsibilities

Strategically develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goal
Build and maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory to become a trusted advisor and support company branding efforts
Utilize CRM to properly manage sales opportunities within the territory
Stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales
Deliver product presentations, and demonstrations, and provide post-sale technical support to healthcare clinicians
Identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territory
Collaborate with various departments including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided
Contribute to product innovation by obtaining insight from healthcare clinicians and working with others and contributing new ideas
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional material
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to the management team
Attend dental trade shows and academia events to promote and sell products
Travels domestically (ground/air) up to 50%

Required

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant B2B or B2C sales experience in lieu of education
Possess valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must reside within the designated territory or surrounding geography
Ability to travel up to 50% including 2 overnights per month
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred

2+ years of relevant B2B or B2C sales or customer facing experience preferred in the Dental, Medical Device, Bio Tech, Healthcare or equivalent space selling complex products and solutions with a proven track record of sales goal achievement
Ability to learn business systems (i.e. CRM software and other sales tools) highly preferred
