Responsibilities
Assist in defending clients in a wide range of matters, from personal injury claims to complex commercial disputes. Responsibilities include case management, client reporting, written discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial preparation, and trials
Conduct research and writing on complex coverage and bad faith issues
Support insurers in coverage litigation, including defending against bad faith and unfair practices claims
Work closely with experienced partners and colleagues who bring "AmLaw 100" quality service in a boutique setting
Qualification
Required
2-6 years in civil defense and insurance coverage litigation
Strong analytical, organizational, research, and writing abilities
Must be well-versed in the Connecticut Practice Book and Connecticut practice/procedure
Connecticut required
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred
New York and/or Massachusetts admissions are advantageous
