New Grad, Entry LevelAtlanta International School (AIS) offers a rigorous International Baccalaureate education to students from 3K through grade 12. The Primary School is seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers fluent in English and other languages to support grades 3K-5 on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities
Substitutes are booked on an on-call basis as needed for half day, full day, and extended subbing schedules throughout the school year
The ideal candidates will have strong classroom management skills, familiarity with hands-on teaching practices, relevant experience with primary school students, and the ability to teach multiple academic subjects
We provide substitute teachers with as much advance notice as possible, a lesson plan from the classroom teacher, administrative support, and competitive compensation
Qualification
Required
Fluency in English, French, German, Spanish or Chinese
Strong classroom management skills
Familiarity with hands-on teaching practices
Relevant experience with primary school students
Ability to teach multiple academic subjects
Regular and reliable attendance
Preferred
Experience teaching, tutoring and/or working with youth
