Behavioral Aide PT (under 25)
SAFY of America is seeking a Part Time Behavioral Case Aide for their Huntsville division in Alabama. The role involves providing skills coaching to program youth, focusing on their treatment goals through various supportive services and training methods.

Responsibilities
Initiate, organize, plan and develop supportive services for the youth assigned to your caseload
Ensure that youth assigned receive services and activities as required by the program
Responsible for helping division plan special events with foster parents and youth
Provide skills training to program youth. This training may include role playing, teaching, debriefing, or other strategies
Establish strong relationships using modeling & coaching of social skills. Assist the youth in developing positive relational skills with peers, adults, and community members
Teach skills that enable youth to solve problems and engage in everyday prosocial interactions
Practice new behaviors in fun and reinforcing settings
Orient youth toward socially acceptable activities in the community
Document each session timely and on appropriate forms. Keep a daily log of activities, contacts, intakes, and each interaction with the youth
Report all incidents, concerns, and issues to direct supervisor. Immediately report emergencies such as runaways, accidents, or medical problems
Qualification
Required
A High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Problem solving, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills (oral and written), conflict resolution
Valid driver license, acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements; may require transporting youth if needed
Preferred
1-2 years' experience working with youth
