Mechanical Engineer II/III

Orano USA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support Project IKE, a high-impact initiative focused on nuclear facility design, construction, and modernization. This role involves performing varied and moderately complex engineering tasks and contributes to the planning, design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems critical to the project's success.

Utilities

Responsibilities

Execute mechanical engineering assignments related to system design, thermal/fluid analysis, equipment specification, and field support for Project IKE
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to solve technical problems, with guidance on more complex issues
Support the development of mechanical design packages, including drawings, calculations, and specifications
Assist in field activities such as installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical systems
Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear, organizational, and customer engineering standards and procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, HVAC, and I&C engineers to ensure integrated system performance
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and constructability
Contribute to technical documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Support special projects and perform other related duties as assigned
