Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and implementation and clean up of all activities
Help create a safe and supportive learning environment
Assist Site Supervisor/Assistant Site Supervisor in supervising children during play as well as during quiet homework time
Be a role model illustrating YMCA philosophy and values
Know emergency procedures, as well as resources such as emergency cards, medical forms and allergy lists
Maintain punctuality, good attendance and appropriate attire
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years of age with a high school education
Must have a warm and friendly personality
Be sensitive toward the feelings and needs of others
Be able to relate well to children
Be mature
Be responsible
Be organized
Act as a role model for the children
Demonstrate a commitment to the YMCA philosophy and core values (caring, honesty, respect, responsibility)
