Immigration Associate (#991) - Minneapolis
Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an Immigration Associate with at least three years of employment-based immigration experience to join their Minneapolis office. The attorney will assist with visa filings and applications, support clients in immigration program management, and supervise paralegal staff.

Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and review of non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, including all types of nonimmigrant work visa petitions (L-1, H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, E-2, etc.) and applications, PERM labor certification applications, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 Petitions, I-9 and E-Verify advice
Support and train clients in immigration program management and compliance
Supervise the work of paralegal staff in recordkeeping and document preparation
Qualification
Required
At least three years of experience with a high-volume practice, including all types of nonimmigrant work visa petitions and applications, PERM labor certification applications, EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 Applications, I-9 and E-Verify advice
A J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Minnesota or Washington bar admission, or the ability to get admitted in Minnesota or Washington
Excellent English writing skills
Ability to manage substantial case load
Ability to supervise paralegals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
Flexibility to meet the demands of our clients
Excellent team player
Strong academic background
