Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and continuously develop a diverse pool of engineering talent

Network, communicate, and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners

Support the team and help to mature our engineering practices, grow our DevOps mindset and culture, and improve our systems

Solve interesting and complex problems to create a positive customer experience

Experiment with new tools and practices to deliver business value in an Agile organization

Find ways to use our data to improve decision making

Drive our journey to a cloud-first technology community

Promote Cloud Engineering - Salesforce, AWS PaaS, cloud integration patterns, cloud security, cloud operations, etc

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent work experience

6+ years of technical/engineering experience

Formal people leadership experience

Understanding and familiarity with common software development patterns and best practices

Strong influencing, planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required

Preferred

Cloud experience/interest - we use AWS

Salesforce experience

Experience with DevOps practices (CI, CD, TDD, etc.)

Apex or Java development background
