Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliated financial professionals (FPs)
Guide FPs in leading with formal financial planning to better serve affluent investors
Conduct discovery meetings, facilitate data gathering, and provide strategic recommendations
Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to FPs and their clients
Respond promptly to advisor inquiries, assess urgency, and manage priorities accordingly
Proactively initiate outreach to support business development and asset growth
Partner with internal teams and product specialists (e.g., advisory, insurance, trust, alternatives) to deliver integrated planning solutions
Collaborate with Cetera Trust Company and other departments to support holistic financial planning
Document and share advisor interactions to ensure continuity and team alignment
Serve as a liaison to various internal departments and product specialists (e.g., advisory, annuity, insurance, and alternative-solutions) to help ensure concerted accomplishments
Honor promises to FPs, follow through on commitments to internal stakeholders, be receptive to constructive dialogue to drive positive change, and learn from others
Ensure all planning recommendations and implementations adhere to regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, and suitability guidelines, particularly when working with complex HNW strategies and alternative investments. Act as a risk-aware partner to advisors, helping them navigate fiduciary responsibilities and mitigate potential compliance issues
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years' experience in a client- or advisor-facing HNW planning role
FINRA Series 7 & 63 required
BS/BA in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field
Strong understanding of trust, estate, and legacy planning
Familiarity with business planning, charitable giving, and risk management strategies
Experience with alternative investments (e.g., 1031 exchanges, QOZs, REITs, exchange funds, oil & gas programs)
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel, to create compelling presentations and support data-driven recommendations that influence advisor and client decision-making
Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRMs and financial planning platforms (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build credibility with HNW clients and advisors
Ability to synthesize data and present actionable solutions across financial disciplines
Collaborative mindset with a focus on service, growth, and continuous learning
Self-starter with high energy and a commitment to excellence
Preferred
