Responsibilities

Manage, administer, maintain, and secure telecommunications equipment supporting COMSEC operations

Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair secure telecommunications devices, including STEs and associated CCI

Interface and integrate secure telecommunications equipment with local classified and unclassified network operations

Detect, diagnose, report, and resolve issues with hardware and software supporting secure communications

Assist with COMSEC audits, inspections, inventories, and training as required

Ensure operations and equipment comply with national COMSEC policies and procedures

Required

Experience with COMSEC Type 1 Keys and associated equipment

Hands-on knowledge of STE installation, repair, upgrades, troubleshooting, and destruction of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI)

Experience with NSA-approved Key Management Systems (KMS) and related equipment

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have an active Top Secret/DOE Q clearance with SCI eligibility
