Deputy Program Manager Engineering (DPME)

Responsibilities

Plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables
Interface with the various Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to provide necessary design engineering support for the production line, such as the organization of material review board analysis and inputs and coordination with various external customers
Conduct monthly engineering status reviews and provide materials for program reviews
Assist in staffing, managing resources, and providing performance feedback for the project team
Foster cross-functional collaboration and communicate technical issue resolutions
Oversee performance, cost, scope, and schedule for all engineering efforts
Manage engineering-related risks, opportunities, and project change processes
Lead technical proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and assist in ROM development

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field
8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred

Proven communication and ability to interface with internal and customer leadership
Advanced knowledge of technologies, principles, theories, and concepts related to the manufacture and design of aerospace composites
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and handle negotiations
Experience with SPI/CPI, Earned Value, CAM, and Statistical Process Controls
