Project Manager, Geologist/Hydrogeologist

They are seeking a Project Manager, Geologist/Hydrogeologist to lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering exceptional results, focusing on advanced bedrock investigations and hydrogeological modeling, while ensuring project quality and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety
Ensure projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives
Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management
Demonstrate technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks
Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight, and observing health and safety processes and procedures
Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders
Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables
Plan and manage site characterization programs and coordinate field investigations
Lead project teams with the technical evaluation and interpretation of site characterization and geologic/hydrogeologic data, develop conceptual site models, and work with other multidisciplinary team members to assess impact to project goals
Lead advanced bedrock investigations using a variety of techniques including downhole geophysics surveys, packer testing, and other borehole testing as well as monitoring well construction
Apply and supervise use of advanced 3-D graphics, EVS modeling, MODFLOW, and hydrogeology visualization techniques in project delivery
Plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols
Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
8+ years of related professional experience
PG licensure or the ability to obtain within 1-2 years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen
Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and ability to learn various software needed to support financial management, diverse project needs, and client requirements
Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary project teams
Familiarity with industry-specific geologic and hydrogeologic modeling software
Preferred
Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field
2+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience
PG (Professional Geologist) and/or LSRP (Licensed Site Remediation Professional) certification highly desirable
Expertise with 3-D graphic software such as EVS and/or MODFLOW or similar
Expertise with industry-specific geologic/hydrogeologic modeling software
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable
