Responsibilities
Carry out projects to support the major research objectives by collecting and analyzing data
Maintain laboratory records
Organize and maintain lab space
Maintain laboratory and chemical inventory and coordinate ordering with PI to replenish as needed
Perform general lab housekeeping including autoclaving biohazardous waste as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or a related field
Experience in molecular biology
Familiarity with using computers to analyze data
Familiarity with reading scientific literature
Preferred
One year of independent research experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to critically evaluate data and develop independent research ideas
