Sr. Manager, Sales Development
Databricks is a leading company in the data and AI space, seeking a strategic leader to manage and grow their sales development team in Chicago. The role involves leading recruiting, pipeline generation strategy, and coaching for BDRs, while also managing a multi-million dollar new business pipeline target.

Responsibilities
Take the primary leadership role in building and scaling an outstanding team
Support and shape strategy for pipeline generation for the Benelux & Nordics team
Manage your team’s multi-million dollar new business pipeline target and be active in coaching team members to be successful
Work with cross-functional regional leadership to maximise the contribution of the team
Maintain strong reporting, accountability, and attainment against quota
Analyse team performance and funnel data to identify and fix inefficiencies
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Sales Development manager, with consistent overachievement against quota
Experience growing a sales development team by recruiting and developing SDRs/BDRs, focused on giving people the training and support that they need to succeed
Experienced in sales process focused on value selling, prospecting, and opportunity qualification
High proficiency in leveraging sales tools, including Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft
Passion for cloud, big data, and AI, with prior experience in this space highly preferred
