Responsibilities
Performing surveillance and risk assessments at multiple special process sources to identify potential quality risks and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
Collaborating with executive leadership at supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues and ensure execution aligns with quality and affordability goals
Ensuring long-term defect reduction and elimination to continuously reduce the cost of poor quality associated with procured products
Ensuring subtier compliance to contractual quality requirements, as they relate to LM Aero product
Traveling 50%-75% to supplier sites to perform surveillance and risk assessments, and to collaborate with executive leadership
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance after start
Travel 50%-75% to supplier sites
Experience in special processes and supplier quality management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with executive leadership and subtier suppliers
Strategic thinker with a focus on ensuring quality and reducing costs
Preferred
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience managing subtier suppliers
Ability to work independently
Experience delivering presentations to leadership and customers
