Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain inventory of drop materials to maximize utilization of materials to include reducing scrap generated during processing
Cycle count plate inventory and maximize utilization through nesting, ensuring strategic consumption of raw materials. Compare on hand material to SAP counts
Reads and interprets manufacturer drawings and creates CNC files for plasma cutting tables, plate rolls and brake press to produce parts for fabrication
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 year of experience drafting or CNC programming
1 year of experience with AUTOCAD 2D
1 year of experience with SAP
1 year of experience with .DXF, .DWG and various print file types
1 year of experience building spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
