Responsibilities
Manages a VMware vSphere Infrastructure in support of several labs
Manages a VDI environment using Omnissa Horizon providing both Windows and Linux environments
Manages the functionality of servers and computers running Windows/Linux operating systems such as (RHEL, Windows 11, Windows Server) within an Active Directory environment
Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems
Assist in creation and maintenance of system documentation such as SOPs and policies
Implementing Information Assurance (IA) systems and practices such as DISA STIGs, RMF and system hardening
Interact with users and evaluate vendor products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience
Active Secret clearance required. Must be able to maintain the security clearance required for this position
Ability to take initiative and work in a team environment
Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills
Strong Virtualization and Systems Administration principles and troubleshooting experience
Good working knowledge of cybersecurity practices/procedures (DISA STIGs, RMF, hardening, documentation)
Must have DoD 8570/8140 IA Certification (Security+ CE)
Ability to manage a large-scale, complex virtual computing environment
Ability to build, standardize, and configure Windows and Linux Operating Systems in various technical use cases

Preferred
VMWare Certified Professional or greater certification
Experience with virtualization technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, VSan, App Volumes, Kubernetes
Experience with Multifactor authentication, CAC/Smartcard PKI and certificate management in a mixed Windows/Linux environment
