Health Planning & Program Analyst
Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking a Health Planning & Program Analyst responsible for health services planning and program analysis. The role involves analyzing community health needs, developing solutions, and managing grant proposals to enhance health services for the Nisqually community.

Responsibilities
Research and identify potential funding opportunities in support of the Nisqually community and Tribes goals, objectives and short and long-range plans
Assist in seeking grants for all health services programs and in writing grant proposals for additional resources
Organize and conduct program research, analyze data and formulate recommendations based on findings
Develop, write and seek grants from federal, state, local and alternative funding sources
Maintain grant files; coordinate department retention of required documents in accordance with applicable requirements; ensure accurate and timely reporting and submission of required performance and financial reports
Serve as department liaison for all grant management activities with the Administrative and Finance departments and with funding agency representatives and other stakeholders
Act as a delegate for the Health Services Director at various Tribal, State and local meetings when directed
Assist management with development of grant management policies and procedures
Work with Grants Compliance Manager to ensure department compliance with grant and auditing requirements
Organize and conduct assessments and surveys relating to the health service needs of the community; analyze results and incorporate findings and feasibility study results to complete long and short term health services planning
Consult with Health Department program management to determine and define problem areas; conduct assessments, analyze results, and recommend solutions
Assist management with development and implementation of short and long range plans and strategic activities
Research, evaluate, and analyze program/project development for effectiveness, formulate solutions to problems, and make recommendations for improvement
Assess available on and off reservation resources; Inventory existing health service resources available to the community and develop a strategy for increasing access to these resources
Collaborate with SPIPA Health Planning Program and the Tribe's planning department to identify potential areas for client and patient services for the Nisqually Indian Tribe
Provide technical assistance to Tribal health service programs for program development
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Planning, or related field AND two years' work experience in tribal health services, program planning, and/or program development OR a comparable amount of experience and/or education
1 year of Public Health experience
Experience writing grants and working with grant reporting systems
Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and be insurable under the Nisqually Indian's Tribe's insurance policy
