Responsibilities
Manage service operations for BESS projects, ensuring optimal uptime, cost-effectiveness, and safe operations
Lead the warranty claim process: engage relevant parties (customers, vendors, internal teams), register claim tickets, track progress, validate resolutions, and ensure closure
Lead vendor management: qualify service vendors, issue RFPs for field services, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and maintain vendor scorecards
Develop, compile, and report on internal operations KPIs, including but not limited to service cost and revenue, equipment performance metrics, and vendor performance
Drive continuous improvement in service processes: identify inefficiencies in warranty claims, spare parts requests, document control, vendor workflows, ticketing, and repair center operations; implement improvements and update SOPs
Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams as needed: provide service updates, report warranty status, track parts supply, and communicate work order progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in BESS or a related field (e.g., renewables, energy storage, power systems, or large-scale electrical equipment), with strong technical exposure to battery systems, inverters/converters, auxiliary systems, and service workflows
Strong analytical skills: able to collect, process, and report KPIs, cost/revenue metrics, and continuous improvement data
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with service, quality, R&D, procurement, and commercial/finance teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytics/reporting tools
Willingness to travel as needed to vendor facilities, repair centers, and project sites, based on role requirements
Preferred
Experience with ticketing or work order systems is a plus
