Director of Sales - Mid Law

DraftWise is building an innovative knowledge platform for the legal industry, focused on enhancing the drafting and review of legal contracts using advanced technologies. They are seeking a high-performing Director of Mid Law Sales to drive revenue growth, build key relationships, and manage a team of account executives targeting mid-sized law firms and in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close with mid-sized law firms and In-house legal departments
Hire, mentor, and manage a team of Mid Law Account Executives as the team scales
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to hit revenue targets and expand market share within the mid-law segment
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including managing partners, Innovations leads, IT, and knowledge management
Partner closely with Marketing and RevOps to develop pipeline generation strategies, build out data reporting needs, and develop strategic hiring and growth plans
Provide market feedback to Product and Leadership to inform roadmap and pricing strategies
Ability to travel at least 25% to industry conferences, in person demonstrations and implementations

Required

7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
Proven track record of accurately forecasting and exceeding quota selling to the legal profession
Experience in a leadership role or demonstrated ability to lead by example and coach others
Strong understanding of the legal tech landscape, buyer personas, and firm operations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
Based in or willing to relocate to New York City

Preferred

Experience selling into Innovation, IT, and Corporate teams at law firms
Existing network of contacts in mid-law firms across the U.S
Early stage SaaS experience scaling a sales team
