Responsibilities
Conducts in-person and remote study visits including screening, obtain informed consent, administers study measures, conducts intervention sessions, and collects biospecimen samples (e.g., blood, urine, fecal samples, hair and rectal swabs)
Handles biospecimen samples and ensures proper collection, labeling, and storage. Coordinates with laboratories for drop-off/shipping, receives assay results, and logs data
Assists in the coordination and execution of recruitment-based activities to ensure enrollment targets are continuously met through social media campaigns, community-based recruitment, and medical provider relationships
Will coordinate and maintain relationships with community partners and community-based agencies (CBOs) to assist with recruitment efforts, dissemination of study results and research lab visibility
Collect and maintain data, assist with data quality assurance (QA), learn about database design, data cleaning, analytic methods and contribute to scientific presentations and manuscripts
Participate in team meetings, prepare reports, meeting minutes and report to the project manager with study updates
Maintain regulatory documents related to studies including logs, IRB submissions, study team certifications to ensure regulatory compliance
Abides by all Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional and governing regulatory committee rules and regulations
Continuously evaluates research plans, identifies problems and provides recommended solutions
Assists senior staff with preparation of study reports, presentations and manuscripts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience
