Responsibilities

Perform detailed aerodynamic analysis using CFD tools to support race car development
Design and optimise aero components (splitters, spoilers, underbody, body panels) within NASCAR regulations
Collaborate with vehicle dynamics and simulation teams to integrate aero data into performance models
Support scale-model and full-scale wind tunnel tests, including instrumentation setup and data interpretation
Analyse race telemetry, wind tunnel data, and CFD outputs to identify performance gains
Contribute to aero map development and simulation-based setup tools used by race engineering teams
Stay updated with all NASCAR technical bulletins, inspection procedures, and rule changes
Produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate insights to engineering leadership
Provide trackside support, correlation reviews, and post-race analysis as required

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience in motorsport aerodynamics - NASCAR, IndyCar, F1 or similar
Strong CFD capability (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM) with solid CAD experience (CATIA, SolidWorks)
Good understanding of NASCAR regulations and compliance-driven aero design
Strong grounding in fluid dynamics, vehicle dynamics, and performance engineering
Wind tunnel testing experience including instrumentation, data acquisition and correlation
Skilled in Python, MATLAB or similar tools for automation and analysis
Able to operate in a high-pressure, competitive motorsport environment
Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Motorsport hours apply - flexibility and track support required
