Responsibilities

Directly take part in sales calls to strengthen customer relationships and uncover possible opportunities for growth

Work with local and regional engineering / consultant firms and utilities to specify our products

Work with rep agencies to grow product sales and specifications for utilities

Work with management to analyze business strategies affecting growth and finances

Develop sales programs and track performance of such programs

Plan, forecast, and establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit goals

Communicate and negotiate special pricing and product availability with top vendors in region

Train and assist management on sales procedures

Required

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older

Generally, 5+ years of experience in a waterworks distribution sales

Strong background in sales management within wholesale distribution

Sound industry and product knowledge

Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience

Experience in Technical meter sales and PVF products
