Marketing Director – Retail & E-Commerce

Confidential is a rapidly growing national retailer and e-commerce brand seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its marketing operations. The CMO will be responsible for the entire marketing vision, focusing on brand strategy, e-commerce optimization, and retail expansion to support aggressive national growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive national brand strategy
Ensure consistent messaging, identity, and creative direction across all channels
Oversee campaign frameworks, creative assets, copy direction, and audience targeting
Lead digital acquisition across Google Ads, PMAX, Meta, TikTok, SEO, retargeting, email/SMS, affiliates, and display
Optimize conversion rate, LTV, repeat purchase behavior, and funnel efficiency
Guide the evolution of the company’s e-commerce platform and customer journey
Build marketing programs for new store openings and national rollouts
Develop marketplace advertising strategies (Amazon, Wayfair, etc. where applicable)
Implement regional and national promotional calendars
Develop KPIs, dashboards, reporting structures, and budget controls
Align marketing operations with sales, product, and customer experience teams
Oversee loyalty, retention, review generation, and customer lifecycle programs
Strengthen brand trust through content, transparency, and proactive communication

Required

5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ at the executive or director level
Strong background in retail and e-commerce (required)
Demonstrated success scaling a consumer brand using paid media and omni-channel tactics
Expertise in analytics platforms, attribution, CRO, and marketing automation
Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets efficiently
Experience leading creative, digital, and brand teams
Exceptional strategic, analytical, and leadership abilities
Google Ads: 3 years (Required)
Social media marketing: 3 years (Required)
Local Marketing Strategies: 3 years (Required)
High school or equivalent (Required)
Ability to Commute: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 (Required)

Preferred

Experience in home goods, appliances, furniture, liquidation, discount retail, or related verticals
Prior experience in high-growth or startup environments
MBA or advanced degree in marketing or a related field
